Pacific Coastal Airlines has an exciting new opportunity as a full-time
Crew Scheduler
. This position is based out of the South Terminal building at the Vancouver International Airport in Richmond.
Pacific Coastal Airlines is headquartered at the South Terminal building at Vancouver International Airport. We fly scheduled and charter service between busy international airports, remote destinations, and beautiful communities in the province of British Columbia and South Alberta.
Reporting to the Manager, Crew Scheduling, the Crew Scheduler is responsible for the daily maintaining of our flight crew schedule.
Do you have what it takes?
To succeed, candidates must have proven communication and organizational skills. The candidate must also demonstrate superb internal customer service skills, be comfortable in stressful conditions and be a self-starter. Must be able to work flexible hours and willing to work weekends.
The Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Maintain daily, weekly, monthly crew schedules efficiently and effectively
- Communicate any schedule changes with crew
- Arrange crew transportation and hotels
- Perform crew call-outs from reserve
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of 2 years Airlines experience - previous crew scheduling experience would be preferred.
- Must be effective in oral and written communications, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess strong computer processing skills.
- Must be able to work well with
- Good knowledge of CARS as it pertains to Crew Scheduling and current Company Pilot Employment Practices Manual (EPM) are considered an asset.
