Colbourne & Kembel, Architects Inc. ("CKA") are accepting applications from talented and motivated JUNIOR/GRADUATE ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGISTS to become an integral part of our team. Junior technologists work with the Lead Architect/Designer during the design stage to produce design documents, work with the Production Leader to produce the Construction Documents and provide assistance to the Construction Manager as needed during the tender and construction stages.

CKA is a prominent regional architectural firm based in Kingston, and we have won numerous heritage and sustainable design awards. Our projects encompass all building types, with a focus on community buildings.

Experience Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology
  • Proficiency in REVIT
  • 3D modelling software expertise
  • Familiarity of building codes and regulations
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in design documentation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Understanding of the construction industry, including building materials, construction methods & standards
  • Strong command of written and spoken English

Salary:

$43,000 - $50,000 commensurate with experience and skills
