Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician who takes pride in their work and is committed to delivering high-quality results. If you're looking for a career where you can utilize your exceptional skills to enhance customer experiences and be part of a dynamic team, this opportunity is for you. As the Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings.
Key Responsibilities
Building Maintenance
Proficiency in drywall repair and preparation.
Experience in interior commercial painting and drywall.
Basic plumbing and electrical skills.
Ability to install and repair appliances.
Capable of performing tasks such as snow removal, parkade clean-up, heavy garbage removal, moving and lifting heavy appliances, and similar duties.
Perform routine maintenance tasks and improvements in common areas.
Building Operations
Experience with HVAC and Building Automation Systems.
General knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, pumps, and closed-loop systems (hot water, glycol, cooling water).
Familiarity with fire protection systems.
Understanding of emergency generator operations.
Customer Service & Communication
Uphold and enhance the customer service experience.
Respond promptly to tenant requests.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in building maintenance, preferably with residential properties.
Must have strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
Availability to work after hours, on-call on a rotational schedule, including weekends, and respond to emergency calls.
Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
