As a
Manager, Process Engineering
, you will lead a team of process engineers across multiple manufacturing sites, driving improvements in safety, quality, efficiency, cost, and sustainability. Provides strategic technical leadership and aligns engineering efforts with segment goals. Advises leadership on process safety, risk, and compliance, and implements segment-wide KPIs to support continuous improvement.

Oversee technical training and capability-building programs, mentors site engineering managers, and evaluates emerging technologies to enhance operations. Leads cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges and deliver strategic solutions.

This role reports to the Director of Project Engineering, F&II and manages Process Engineers at Winston Salem and Cedar Rapids or Process Engineers at London and Cardinal.

*What You Will Do:*

  • Reviews and approves MOC documentation for process changes, including P&IDs, material and energy balances, safety, and validation.
  • Leads process engineering teams to implement best practices, solve complex problems, and drive performance improvements aligned with key KPIs.
  • Apply project management principles to develop and execute capital proposals, analyze financial impacts, and ensure budget compliance.
  • Leverages data analytics and technical reporting to monitor process performance, address deviations, and inform short-term decisions.
  • Drives EHSSQ improvements through training, technical support, and non-conformity analysis, ensuring compliance and safety.
  • Collaborates globally to standardize processes, share troubleshooting knowledge, and build engineering capabilities across sites.
  • Evaluates emerging technologies and digital tools to enhance efficiency, quality, and sustainability in manufacturing operations.

*What You Will Bring:*

  • Degree or advanced degree in an engineering discipline or relevant experience, and typically 10 or more years of experience in process optimization, plant manufacturing and/or project execution.
  • Team leadership experience desired. LSS or Six Sigma background, a plus. Strong financial acumen.

*Pay Range:*
$119,520.00-$159,360.00 Annual

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

*Incentive Compensation:*
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
