Full-time | Monday–Friday | ~36–37 hours/week

We are supporting a large Ontario government organization with the recruitment of a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist for a contract assignment.

This role is ideal for an experienced Talent Acquisition professional who thrives in a structured, fast-paced, public-sector environment and enjoys owning the recruitment process end to end.

Position Summary

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead and execute full-cycle recruitment activities while partnering closely with hiring managers and stakeholders. The role supports a high-volume, complex hiring environment and contributes to both operational recruitment and broader Talent Acquisition initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead
    full-cycle recruitment
    , including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessments, background checks, and offer negotiations
  • Guide hiring managers and candidates through each stage of the recruitment and selection process
  • Manage
    multiple requisitions simultaneously
    within tight timelines
  • Support
    campus and student recruitment initiatives
  • Recruit for roles across
    digital, marketing, and legal functions
  • Participate in and support other
    Talent Acquisition projects
    as required
  • Deliver a positive, professional candidate and stakeholder experience

Qualifications & Experience

Work Experience

  • Minimum
    3 years of recruitment experience
    in a large, complex organization
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Education

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in
    Human Resources
    or a related field

Skills & Competencies

  • Results-driven with strong attention to detail
  • Quick learner with a collaborative and adaptable mindset
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Commitment to delivering an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience

Technical Skills

  • Experience using
    Applicant Tracking Systems
    (e.g., Workday)
  • Proficiency with
    MS Teams
    and modern recruitment tools
  • Innovative, growth-oriented, and comfortable thinking outside the box
