Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and attentive First Aider to provide immediate medical assistance and support in a busy construction workplace. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills . This role is vital in ensuring safety and well-being for workers on site through prompt response and effective care. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while developing valuable skills in health and safety management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first aid treatment for minor injuries and medical emergencies promptly and effectively. Assist with light duties on job site while not doing first aid.
  • Assess situations to determine the appropriate course of action and escalate serious cases to medical professionals when necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, treatments administered, and follow-up actions
  • Assist with health-related education and safety awareness initiatives within the organization
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe environment for all participants
  • Keep first aid supplies well-stocked, organized, and up-to-date
  • Experience
  • Strong writing skills for documenting incidents accurately and professionally
  • Certification in first aid Level 3 is mandatory
  • This role is essential for fostering a safe environment where individuals feel supported and cared for. We welcome applicants who are dedicated to health & safety principles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.83-$28.80 per hour
