We have an opening for a Third Officer position on one of our ships, which sails from Halifax, NS to St. John's, NL. In addition to his responsibility towards the navigation, safety, and operations of the vessel, the third officer is directly responsible of the maintenance of the safety and firefighting equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Watchkeeping Mate
  • MED, STCW Basic Safety
  • Proficiency in Survival Crafts and Rescue Boats other than Fast Rescue Boats
  • MED, Advanced Firefighting
  • Proficiency, Ship Personnel with Designated Security Duties
  • Marine Medical Certificate

Skills:

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Capacity to work under pressure

Working conditions

We offer excellent and competitive work conditions on high technology vessels, regular schedule 28/28, as well as group insurances and pension plan.

Status: Temporary
