Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Building Maintenance person to ensure the safety, functionality, and efficiency of our facility. This Part Time position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in facilities maintenance, electrical, mechanical, and welding skills. Candidates must be detail-oriented, customer service-focused, and capable of managing multiple maintenance tasks to uphold our high standards of operational excellence.

Duties

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
  • Oversee facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards and compliance are met.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
  • Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to coordinate maintenance schedules and address urgent issues promptly.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding efficiently to internal requests for repairs or maintenance.
  • Must have own transportation, NOT SUITABLE FOR SOMEONE TAKING PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION.
  • Must be willing to come in for emergencies on days off.

Qualifications

  • Some electrical experience with knowledge of schematics and electrical systems.
  • Mechanical knowledge including experience with welding and mechanical repairs.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS software.
  • Ability to read technical schematics, manuals, and blueprints effectively.
  • Strong communication skills in English; able to document work clearly and interact professionally with team members.
  • Knowledge of facilities maintenance best practices, safety standards, and troubleshooting techniques. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$17.75 per hour
