JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • PREPARE TAKE OFFS AND ESTIMATES FOR REROOF PROJECTS AND NEW CONSTRUCTION
  • ATTEND PREBID MEETINGS AND REVIEW JOB SITES
  • COMMUNICATE WITH BUILDING OWNERS, CONSULTANTS AND GENERAL CONTRACTORS
  • OBTAIN SUPPLIER AND SUBCONTRACTOR PRICING AS REQUIRED
  • ORDER BID BONDS, PERFORMANCE BONDS, LABOUR AND MATERIAL BOND
  • REVIEW CONTRACTS AND PURCHASE ORDERS
  • MANAGE PROJECT FROM TIME OF AWARD TO FINAL COMPLETION
  • ATTEND JOB START UP MEETINGS
  • WORK CLOSELY WITH CONSULTANTS AND GENERAL CONTRACTORS
  • COMMUNICATE WITH COMPANY SUPERINTENDENT AND PROJECT FOREMAN REGARDING SPECIFIC PROJECT DETAILS
  • SUBMIT ALL REQUIRED PROJECT START UP AND CLOSE OUT DOCUMENTATION
  • PREPARE AND SUBMIT MONTHLY PROGRESS INVOICING

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA REQUIRED, COLLEGE DIPLOMA PREFERRED
  • 3-5 YEARS COMMERCIAL ROOFING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
  • KNOWLEDGE OF MODIFIED BITUMIOUS, BUR, SINGLE PLY ROOF SYSTEMS
  • ABILITY TO READ AND INTERPRET BLUEPRINTS, DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS
  • STRONG COMPUTER SKILLS
  • STRONG ORAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION
  • ABILITY TO MULTI-TASK AND WORK IN A FAST PACED ENVIRONMENT
  • VALID DRIVERS LICENCE

JOB TYPE - FULL TIME HOURS WEEK)

  • SALARY IS COMMENSURATE WITH QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • POTENTION TO BE INCLUDED IN COMPANY PENSION PLAN
  • POSITION INCLUDES COMPANY VEHICLE.

Pay: $60,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
