About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join our Vancouver office. Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you will partner closely with business leaders to deliver people initiatives that support Micromine's Software Solutions teams, while aligning to Weir's broader global people strategy.
This role is critical to enabling the success of Weir's Software Solutions division across North and South America, requiring someone who can operate confidently across both Micromine and Weir environments—bringing strong HR business partnering capability, cultural awareness, and commercial insight.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to deliver people strategies aligned to local business priorities and global objectives
- Champion health, safety, wellbeing, and inclusion initiatives
- Support workforce planning, hiring, and talent development in partnership with Talent Acquisition
- Deliver core people programs, using data and employee insights to improve organisational effectiveness
- Coach and influence leaders to strengthen capability, engagement, and culture
- Provide high-quality HR support across the employee lifecycle, including visa and immigration processes
About You
Experience & Education
- Degree-qualified (or equivalent) with experience as an HR Business Partner
- Experience in software, technology, or professional services environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and labour relations
- Proven ability to support business transformation and deliver outcomes
