THE TEAM
The mission of the Labour & Workforce Planning Department is to schedule to match the needs of the business with the optimal talent, while controlling labour wastage in support of an incredible employee and client experience.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a leader of the Labour & Workforce Planning department, you will be part of the team responsible for planning and scheduling talent to match business needs and to support an incredible employee and client experience. As the Manager, Workforce Planning, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing employee schedules for Stores and Concierge centres at the district and regional levels to support the success and growth of our Retail business while minimizing labour wastage. THE ROLE
As the Manager, Workforce Planning, you will:
- Drive the continuous improvement of the strategic model that enables accurate projection of labour needs and directs the development of the schedule
- Support in identifying process improvements to optimize labour spending and productivity while minimizing wastage
- Guide the team to gather and assess all required data to enable effective planning
- Guide the team to analyze, process, and optimize scheduling inputs at the district and regional level
- Partner with district-level Retail leaders to build optimized schedules that drive effective labour decisions
- Guide the team in revising live week schedules while supporting a positive employee experience
- Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience

THE COMPENSATION
The typical hiring range for this position is $100,000–$130,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. We are always looking for top talent. If your qualifications differ from those listed above, the scope of work and final agreed upon salary may be adjusted to reflect your individual qualifications.
