We are a family owned, privately held company founded in 1985. We provide complete turn-key fire sprinkler protection systems and services to the industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential sectors of Ontario's construction industry, specializing in design-build projects.

Job Description

Your role involves installing, adjusting, and repairing sprinkler-based fire protection systems and piping for engineered systems. Much of your work is above-head and includes physical labour carrying and moving equipment and tools.

You will also be required to complete small contracts, perform inspections and service work, and train a sprinkler fitter apprentice as needed.

Job Skills & Qualifications

  • MUST be a licensed Journeyperson Sprinkler Fitter, a member of UA Local 853 and registered with Skilled Trades Ontario (formerly OCOT).
  • Able to read and understand construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities.
  • Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
  • Ability to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work tasks.
  • Professional attitude and ability to work closely and communicate well with coworkers, other trades and clients.

Compensation

  • Union-based hourly wage paid weekly, based on four 9-hour days per week.
