W Electric is a growing company in need of a 309A Electrician to join our team.

We are seeking a part time and and full time employees to join our team.

At W Electric, you will be responsible for Installing, modifying and maintaining various electrical systems and components such as, electrical wiring, electrical panels, switches, boxes, receptacles, lighting, alarms, etc. using a variety of hand and power tools.

Testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices.

Analyzing and interpreting blue prints, schematics, and drawings of electrical systems.

Gathering material from suppliers and delivering to job sites using company vehicles.

Ordering/purchasing required materials from suppliers and vendors as required.

Training and directing the work of Apprentice Electricians as required.

Working in accordance with the electrical code and any applicable occupational health and safety legislation.

Coordinating with other sub-trades, suppliers, clients, etc. to ensure work is carried out effectively.

Other related duties as assigned.

Experience

Education/Licenses/Certificates

Electrician's license (309A) required.

Valid driver's license required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $36.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • LONDON, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

  • Journeyman Electrician: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Drivers Licence (preferred)
