RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain equipment, perform repairs and preventative maintenanceAbility to demonstrate working knowledge of mechanical maintenance troubleshooting principles and conceptsRepair or replace defective machinery partsRebuild and fabricate parts as requiredPerform routine maintenance work on machineryPerform facility maintenance and maintain clean and safe work areaPerform equipment changeovers and production set upsPerform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety proceduresRecommend improvements to equipment and processes

SKILLS, ABILITIES & EDUCATION

A few years industrial maintenance experience requiredMust have Industrial Mechanic certification (DEC or DEP)Previous safety training an asset.Excellent communication and written skills.Ability to work alone or in a group.Attention to detailPositive attitude and self-starter

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Safety training provided upon hiring.Personal Protective Equipment required in all work environments.Some positions require outdoor work.Indoor work environments can vary between wet, dusty, cold, hot and high noise conditions.No allergy to dustWork around automated equipment5 8-hour day shifts (between Monday to Sunday)Weekend availability required4-hour call backs between 2pm and 6am paid at 1.5 hours.On call every 6 weeks (cell phone will be provided) 

COMPENSATION

$43.37/hr

**** Please note that the work schedule will be 5 days per week at 8 hours per day and could include working a Saturday or Sunday. 
Must be available on call back every day of the week from 2 pm to 6 am between shifts (you get compensated for a minimum of 4 hours at 1.5 times call back).
Must carry a cell phone for 7 days (one week) every 6 weeks.
