Do you have a passion for golf and a talent for teaching? The City of Burnaby Golf Services is seeking experienced contract Golf Instructors to join our team at Burnaby's golf facilities. If you're ready to share your expertise and help players improve their skills, this is your opportunity to make a difference
As a Golf Instructor, you will design lesson plans and deliver both group and private lessons for golfers of all ages and skill levels. The City will provide the essentials golf balls, class lists, and a First Aid kit but instructors are expected to bring their own teaching aids and enthusiasm for the sport.
Successful candidates must obtain an Apprentice Golf Professional or higher. We are looking for individuals with excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with a positive attitude and a genuine love of the game. Applicants under consideration will be required to consent to a Police Information Check.
Pay Rate: $42.00 per hour + 4% in lieu of benefits (2024 Rates)
Location: Burnaby Mountain Golf Course
Hours of work: This is a contract instructor position with hours and shifts based on operational requirements and registrations for private and group lessons. Typical shifts are 2 – 8 hours in length.
