Our Personal Support Workers are central to that mission. They deliver personal care, support daily living, and contribute to a stable and respectful home environment for each client.

Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable Personal Support Worker (PSW) who can provide personal care, routine support, and assistance with daily living. Your focus is on safety, consistency, and client centered care in every home you visit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
  • Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and companionship.
  • Support clients with routine tasks that may include medication reminders consistent with PSW scope and agency policy.
  • Observe, record, and report any changes in client condition to the supervising nurse or Care Coordinator.
  • Follow individualized care plans and maintain high standards for infection control and safety.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, families, and team members to ensure quality care.
  • Promote dignity, respect, and independence at all times.

Qualifications

  • Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized program.
  • CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Experience in homecare, supportive living, or long term care is preferred.
  • Ability to follow care plans, document accurately, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach to care.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel within Edmonton and surrounding areas.
