Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Appraiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and sales, with the ability to assess vehicle conditions accurately and provide exceptional customer service. This role is vital in ensuring that our customers receive fair evaluations of their vehicles while maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to determine their condition, value, and necessary repairs.
  • Provide accurate appraisals based on mechanical knowledge and market trends.
  • Communicate findings effectively to customers, explaining the appraisal process and any recommended repairs.
  • Utilize upselling techniques to promote additional services or products that may benefit the customer.
  • Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accuracy in all financial dealings.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to facilitate smooth transactions and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive trends, dealership practices, and industry standards.

Skills

  • Previous dealership experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on mechanic experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
  • Proven sales experience, particularly in an automotive context, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology is essential.
  • Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining customer trust.
