Summary

We are seeking a qualified Class B Refrigeration Mechanic to join our maintenance department. This role is critical in supporting large industrial holding and freezing equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain Holding Freezer and Production Freezers refrigeration systems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues for HVAC and Refrigeration safety.
  • Support production uptime by responding quickly to equipment or system alarms.
  • Maintain logs, safety checks, and regulatory compliance documentation.
  • Knowledge of piping and fittings needed.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class B Refrigeration Operator Certificate.
  • Experience in food processing or industrial plants is an asset.
  • Ability to read P&IDs, schematics, and manuals.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem solving skills required.
  • Comfortable working in cold environments and at heights when required.
