Primary Skills: ASSEMBLER, DB2, COBOL, JCL, CICS 

Job Description: Mainframe Assembler Lead:

  •  Around Eight years Hands on Experience experience on Application design, development and maintenance on mainframe systems with 
    Strong Knowledge on ASSEMBLER, DB2, COBOL, JCL, CICS, ChangeMan, Infoman, SPUFI, File Aid, File Aid for Db2, Mq Series, CA Scheduler, SYNCSORT.
  •  Minimum of 4+ years Hands on ASSEMBLER language programming experience is mandatory,preferably with Clustered DB2 background
  •  Strong knowledge in design, development, maintenance and production support on mainframe batch, online and 
    online batch applications
  •  Worked on real-time transaction processing, e.g. systems posting transactions to GL
  •  Very good experience in database concepts, relational database design, trouble shooting and system performance tuning
  •  Experience in Unit testing, QA testing, system testing and inter/intra system testing
  •  Experience is SDLC from project Initiation to project closing stage, project documentation.

Nice to have Skills:

  • Background of working on Retail banking, Personal and commercial banking, Savings/Checking Accounts,Lending, Creditor insurance etc.
  • Knowledge of one of these Vendor products experience is highly desirable
    1. Connex(FIS) - processing POS and ATM transactions outside and in network, payment gateway
    2. CGI-Strata
    3. Equifax, Bureaulink-CGI, Cirrus
  • Worked on any Assembler modernization initiatives like Language conversion or Database conversion or reverse/re-engineering initiatives
