Employment Type: Term – Ending March 2026, Youth Services Worker (35 hours per week)

The Opportunity:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Youth Drop-in Center.
- Support youth who are at risk of becoming unhoused or are unhoused and are experiencing barriers in accessing resources and services.
- Advocate and address immediate needs of the youth, including but not limited to: meals, clothing, personal hygiene items, shower, laundry, storage, access to computer, internet and telephone.
- Provides first aid and investigates illness or injury complaints to determine the need for additional medical services.

What You Will Bring to The Role:
- A post-secondary diploma in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, or a related field preferred
- Two years' experience working with at-risk and high-risk youth
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Wage Range: The target hiring range for this position is $29.66 to $38.41 per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants' role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
