We are hiring a full-time Advertising Operations Specialist to strategize, write, conceptualize, build, and support on analyzing and optimizing mid/large budget ad campaigns across platforms like Meta and Google, to work under our Advertising Operations Manager and alongside the ads team, while collaborating with other service teams to execute our Full Circle Approach to Digital Marketing and drive measurable results for our Clients.
Founded in 2015, In Social is a 20+ person Shopify Plus digital marketing agency working remotely and based in Toronto. We do everything related to digital marketing including, but not limited to; paid and organic social media, email/SMS marketing and automation, website design & development, influencer marketing, branding and design, Ecommerce & Amazon management, US-based fulfillment, and online customer service, for clients across the world in industry verticals ranging from skincare, apparel, beauty, restaurants, home décor, CPGs, baby products, health and wellness, real estate, accounting, and more.
Some of our clients have been featured in Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Forbes, Business Insider, and GOOP, are sold in major retail chains like Walmart, Target, and Loblaws, and one even hosted the White House Correspondents Dinner
WORK WITH US AND YOU WOULD BE:
- Researching, Strategizing & Planning Campaigns: developing Client advertising campaign strategies across platforms through researching and leveraging historical data, industry insights and trends, platform best practices, brand information and data, audiences and third-party integrations, while adding our special In Social magic, in order to reach client advertising KPIs and revenue goals
- Writing & Editing Advertising Copy: using campaign strategies and plans, as well as platform features and tools, to develop, write, and edit ad copy for various advertising channels that drive action and conversion
- Visualizing, Conceptualizing, & Building Creative: producing advertising image and video concepts and assets by applying data and best practices to design templates, storyboards, and Figma components, while working with our Design team and Organic Social team, to deploy beautiful, engaging, and results driven advertising creative
- Managing, Analyzing, Optimizing & Scaling: owning the performance of, and actioning on opportunities to improve our advertising efforts across campaigns and advertising accounts using tools like GA4 or TripleWhale, and working alongside the Advertising team and under the direction of our Director of Brand Strategy to identify or proactively catch and resolve issues, scale where appropriate, or introduce new advertising campaigns, ads, creative or anything else required to reach and exceed Client KPIs
- Testing, Testing, & More Testing: continually testing advertising variables such as target audiences, campaign types, bidding strategies, copy, creative, and everything and anything in between, to continually improve performance metrics across all advertising efforts
- Tracking, Budgeting, & Reporting: ensuring all advertising efforts such as strategies, audience testing, creative testing, bidding, strategies, et al are properly tracked for analysis and insight, while ensuring proper budget allocation across efforts, and compiling the information together for the Client in a way they can digest and understand
- Contributing to the Full Circle Approach: being a team player and collaborating across all service verticals to understand, adapt, strategize, and deliver advertising efforts that consider the entire customer journey, in an effort to deliver the best results possible to our Clients
- Continuous Improvement: always improving your skill set, knowledge, and performance through self-development, training courses, webinars, as well as collaborating with, and taking feedback from the Advertising Operations Manager and our Director of Brand strategy
- Task Coordination & Deadline Management: ensuring that all your project tasks are completed within time budgets and due dates, and collaborating with your Manager, the Account team and Project Managers to make adjustments to roadmaps if needed
TO WORK WITH US YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- 1-2 years of experience of running or contributing to the running of digital advertising campaigns across Meta & Google (other platforms are a bonus)
- 1-2 years of Ecommerce advertising experience (Shopify)
- Strong advertising performance analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities
- Previous agency experience is a bonus and comfort working in a fast-paced, remote agency environment
