Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Fine Dining Server to join our esteemed restaurant team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills, a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices, and the ability to provide an outstanding dining experience for our guests. As a Fine Dining Server, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service while showcasing your knowledge of our menu offerings.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Toast POS system, ensuring all items are entered correctly.
  • Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests in their selections.
  • Upsell food and beverage items to enhance the dining experience while maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to proper food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
  • Process payments efficiently through cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and presentation of dishes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food service.

Experience

  • Previous restaurant experience in a fine dining setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, is advantageous.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices in the food industry.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$30.02 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
