We currently have an opening for a Full Time Sales Associate & Pointe Shoes Fitter position at our West Location.

FULL TIME HOURS

Tuesday to Friday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 5pm

JOB DETAILS - SALES ASSOCIATE

MAIN FUNCTIONS:

To assist customers in their purchase of dance attire, fit Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Pointe Shoes, maintain the cleanliness of the store and conduct Open/Closing procedures.

REPORTS TO:

Owner/Manager

DUTIES:

The duties as a Sales Associate is to maintain a high standard of cleanliness within the store, assist all customers with trying on Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe Shoes, bodysuits and assist with selecting tights and/or accessories. You will also assist in packaging and shipping out website, customer and dance studio orders.

The Sales Associate may be required to work overtime, with paid compensation but this is rare. The shift is 8hrs and there is no given lunch break time, lunch is taken between customers.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient in spoken and written English

  • Punctual, meticulous and reliable

  • Attention to detail is a must

  • Courteous manners with customers

  • Own vehicle is preferred

  • 18 yrs and older

  • Canadian Citizen

  • Not currently dancing with a studio and not involved in any dance Festivals or Competitions

  • Dance Experience in Tap, Jazz, Ballet. Pointe is preferred.

  • Retail experience in clothing or shoe sales is an advantage
