Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, assist customers with product selection, and ensure the sales floor is well-organized and inviting. This role offers an opportunity to develop sales skills and gain experience in a dynamic retail environment. Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse customer needs.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries and selections
  • Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
  • Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring products are well-stocked
  • Stock shelves and manage inventory levels throughout the shift
  • Handle cash, process payments accurately, and perform cash handling procedures
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store
  • Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and replenishment. Communicate with management regarding restocking needs.

Experience

  • Cash handling experience, including counting and reconciling cash drawers
  • Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures
  • Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly desirable
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Basic math skills for retail transactions and retail math proficiency are necessary
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude and friendly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37 per week
