Overview

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, an ability to upsell menu items, and a passion for the food service industry.

Responsibilities

- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.

- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.

- Take accurate orders using the POS system and relay them to the kitchen staff.

- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.

- Upsell additional menu items to enhance the dining experience.

- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables and service stations.

- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.

- Adhere to food handling and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications

- A valid Serve It Right Certification is required.

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to upsell menu items effectively.
  • Proficient in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures is a plus.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
