Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests through attentive service and a thorough understanding of our menu offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
  • Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and wine pairings.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
  • Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
  • Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with care.

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a focus on fine dining or nightclub environments.
  • Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
  • Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
  • Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is beneficial.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
