Job Title: Associate Insurance Advisor
Status: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Edmonton, AB
Salary: $55,000 – $60,000
Pathfind has recently engaged with an outstanding, service-oriented client to identify an Administrative Assistant based in Edmonton, Alberta. This organization offers wealth management services to clients including financial management, risk management, tax planning, group insurance and innovative banking solutions. With more than 100 years combined financial services experience, our client focuses on providing expert advise and building long-lasting relationships through their dedicated service.
They are currently looking for an Associate Insurance Advisor.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the planning, administration, and management of client. documentation, records and transactions as it relates to life insurance products.
- Work with new and existing clients relating to insurance-based investment products.
- Work with lead Financial Advisors to prepare, complete, process and file client forms.
- Schedule and coordinate client meetings for insurance deliveries and complete insurance application forms.
- Send out client information emails relating to life insurance policies, segregated funds and general information on group plans and investments.
- Enter CRM client data and meeting notes to keep client information updated in the system.
- Liaise with clients and handle inquiries to ensure financial information is updated accurately.
- Develop and maintain strong client working relationships.
- Perform other administration duties as requested.
- 2+ years experience in a financial assistant capacity
- Experience or a solid understanding in insurance related procucts
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline
- Possesses or pursuing a Life License Qualification Program Certificate (LLQP)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
- Analytic with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is a must
- Possesses strong time management skills
