Overview

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Vape Shop Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, a strong understanding of vaping products, and the ability to create an engaging shopping experience. This role involves assisting customers with product selections, conducting product demos, managing sales transactions, and maintaining an organized store environment.. The Sales Associate will play a key role in promoting our products through upselling and merchandising while ensuring excellent customer service standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding vaping products and accessories
  • Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and usage
  • Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
  • Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
  • Maintain merchandising displays, stock shelves, and ensure the store is clean and organized
  • Assist with phone inquiries, providing excellent phone etiquette and customer communication
  • Support supervising staff when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with store policies related to age restrictions and safety regulations

Experience

  • Previous retail sales experience preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of vaping products, accessories, or related merchandise is beneficial but not mandatory—training will be provided
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple customers efficiently
  • Basic math skills necessary for cash handling and retail transactions
  • Ability to maintain professionalism with good phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills
