Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a smooth kitchen operation. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service, with a passion for delivering excellent dining experiences. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience in the food industry is preferred, along with a strong understanding of meal preparation and food handling procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards
  • Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
  • Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
  • Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment
  • Support the serving staff by ensuring timely delivery of prepared dishes
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred, especially within a restaurant or kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of meal preparation processes and kitchen safety protocols
  • Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward collaboration
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or evenings if required
