Folding Mountain Brewing is currently hiring for the position of Head Chef/Kitchen Manager.

We are a fun team and are looking for someone who will bring their personality to help continue to make FMB what it is and to help it grow. We have established offerings and will be wanting you to help curate the menu and bring your touch to it.

We are also home to Juniper Pizza Pies which is a seasonal pizza trailer that operates in our beer garden. It offers a small variety of pizzas which our patrons can order at the trailer and pick up. Launched in 2021, it has already established itself as a top pizza offering in the area.

Duties:

-Oversee all kitchen operations for the taproom and Juniper Pizza Pies; this includes staff scheduling and ordering of food and supplies

-Work with FMB leadership team to develop and implement seasonal menus

-Ensure consistent food preparation and presentation

-Maintain product levels and records of all food costs, sales and inventory

-Oversee kitchen safety, cleanliness and sanitation

-Work with the General Manager to attract, recruit and retain staff

-Train and mentor all kitchen team members

-Ensure all AHS guidelines are met

A typical year at FMB follows the four seasons. While we are open year-round, the summer high season runs from June through September, and is our busiest time, when we are most in service to both Canadian and International tourists. In the summer, we have a full staff of both seasonal and permanent employees. We do our best to give everyone two days off in a row each week. In the summer, however, these days cannot be guaranteed. Flexibility and down time come in the shoulder seasons.
