About Us

iControls is a growing OEM manufacturer of industrial garage door operators and loading dock control equipment. We design and build high-quality electrical control systems for a wide range applications in the material handling industry. We're expanding our team and looking for a talented, detail-oriented Control Panel Builder who also holds a valid electrical license.

Position Overview

The Control Panel Builder will be responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting industrial control panels according to schematics, drawings, and engineering specifications. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on electrical experience, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and wire electrical control panels according to schematics and layout drawings
  • Read and interpret electrical diagrams, panel layouts, and bills of materials
  • Mount components, route wiring, and ensure clean, professional workmanship
  • Perform continuity checks, functional tests (troubleshooting would be an asset)
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, and company quality processes
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve design or wiring issues
  • Document work, update wiring changes, and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

  • A Valid electrical license would be an asset
  • Proficient with hand/bench power tools
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience building industrial control panels or equivalent electrical experience
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and industrial wiring practices
  • Ability to read and interpret control schematics and technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
  • Ability to work safely, efficiently, and independently
  • Good problem-solving skills and communication abilities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
