Job Summary

We are seeking an Experienced Journeyman/Journeywoman Glazier to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in glass installation and fabrication, along with a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role requires expertise in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as proficiency with hand and power tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship on various projects, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Must be able to work together with other journeyman for larger projects.

Duties

  • Install, repair, and replace glass in residential and commercial settings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project specifications.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for glass installation and other related tasks.
  • Perform fabrication of glass products as required by project specifications.
  • Conduct heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials safely on construction sites.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Apply caulking and perform construction tasks to finish installations professionally.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.

Experience

  • Proven experience in the glazing industry with a strong focus on glass installation techniques.
  • Previous experience on construction sites is essential, including knowledge of safety protocols.
