About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and organised Secondment Management Officer for a 6-month opportunity in the Office of the CEO/CO. This role is central to ensuring the smooth coordination of secondment arrangements between CFA and Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV), providing essential administrative support that keeps our operations running efficiently.
You will work closely with the Service Delivery Lead Coordinator, managing documentation, correspondence, staffing action forms and reporting with accuracy and attention to detail. Acting as a key point of contact, you will respond to enquiries, track secondment processes and ensure compliance with policies and procedures, all while maintaining discretion and professionalism. Experience in recruitment or resourcing will be an advantage.
This role offers the chance to develop strong relationships across the organisation and contribute to a high-performing team environment. If you enjoy coordinating complex processes, supporting a busy executive office and taking pride in delivering high-quality administrative outcomes, this position provides an engaging and rewarding experience.
About You
You are a skilled and adaptable administration professional who thrives in complex and dynamic environments. You bring relevant experience from large or multi-faceted organisations and confidently apply policies, procedures and frameworks to ensure consistent decision-making.
You build strong, cooperative relationships with internal and external stakeholders through clear communication and interpersonal skills. Your exceptional organisational and time-management abilities allow you to prioritise competing tasks, meet tight deadlines and deliver results with minimal supervision.
You have experience coordinating diverse office functions and projects, and your analytical approach helps you identify risks, solve problems and take action on priorities effectively. You enjoy contributing as part of a team while taking initiative to drive outcomes.
