Key Responsibilities

  • Operate industrial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen by regularly cleaning floors, countertops, sinks, and trash areas.
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks (e.g., chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients) as needed.
  • Properly store clean dishes and kitchen tools in designated areas.
  • Dispose of garbage and recycling in accordance with sanitation procedures.
  • Ensure kitchen staff have timely access to clean equipment and tools during service.
  • Uphold all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards consistently.
  • Be open to training opportunities in food preparation and line cooking, with the goal of growing within the kitchen team.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Prior experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is an asset but not required—we're happy to train the right candidate.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to take initiative.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, team-focused setting.
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills in a professional kitchen setting.
