Our Kingsville Head Office Location is currently seeking a .NET Cloud Developer to join our Information Technology team  The .NET Cloud Developer plays a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure. This role requires strong technical expertise in .NET C# development, enterprise-scale cloud architecture, and Azure's full suite of services. The .NET Cloud Developer works on enterprise-scale solutions, leads cloud migration initiatives, and helps modernize the company's technology stack. This role collaborates with development teams and business stakeholders to deliver high-performance, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and architect enterprise-scale solutions on Microsoft Azure using .NET 8/9/10 C#.
• Develop cloud-native applications using Azure Functions, App Services, AKS, and serverless architectures.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Lead cloud migration strategies and modernization initiatives.
• Build data pipelines with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
• Implement and manage Azure security and identity solutions, including Azure AD, Key Vault, RBAC, and Managed Identities.
• Implement monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
• Optimize cloud performance, cost, and security across all environments.
• Design and implement APIs using RESTful patterns, GraphQL, and Azure API Management.
• Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep.
• Collaborate with development teams and business stakeholders to deliver cloud solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Mentor development teams on cloud best practices and architecture patterns.

• Minimum of 7 years of software development experience with .NET C#.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
• Minimum of 4 years designing enterprise-scale cloud architectures.
• Expert-level experience with Azure Functions, App Services, AKS, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB.
• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Event Hubs, Service Bus, and API Management.
• Strong experience with Azure security and identity: Azure AD, Azure AD B2C, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, RBAC, Managed Identities, Conditional Access, and PIM.
• Experience with Azure monitoring tools: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and distributed tracing.
• Proficiency in MSSQL/T-SQL.
• Experience with infrastructure as code: Terraform (Azure Landing Zone modules), ARM templates, and Bicep.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with containerization: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), Helm, and container registries.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and OAuth2/JWT authentication.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Azure certifications (AZ-204, AZ-400) are a plus.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments, including on-premises to cloud migration patterns, Azure Migrate, and Azure Site Recovery, is a plus.
• Experience with Zero Trust security models, threat modeling, and penetration testing is a plus.
• Experience with Azure IoT Hub or Azure ML is a plus.
• Agriculture, supply chain, or food industry experience is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Typical office environment.
• On-call and after-hours availability 24X7 to resolve technical incidents required.
• May be required to work nights and weekends during un-planned outages and other special circumstances

Salary Range is $100K/yr CAD  to $110K/yr CAD
