Accountabilities and Responsibilities

A truck driver plays a crucial role in delivering our commitments to customers. The success of our brand and the quality of the customer experience depend on the effective

performance of this position's duties.

Your day-to-day

  • Start with the team. Daily pre-job meetings with superintendents and foremen keep you in the loop on project goals, priorities, and logistics.
  • Hit the road. Transport materials, equipment, and supplies across varied terrain—remote sites, active construction zones, urban deliveries. Every route brings something different.
  • Keep things rolling. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections (tires, brakes, lights, signals) and flag any mechanical issues before they become problems.
  • Stay sharp on paperwork. Maintain accurate logbooks tracking cargo, hours of service, distance, and fuel consumption.
  • Operate safely, always. Follow traffic laws, transportation regulations, weight limits, and company safety policies without exception. You set the standard.
  • Champion safety culture. Model safe practices and encourage the same from coworkers, subcontractors, and everyone on site.

This is a general responsibilities list and does not include all responsibilities required for the position.
