Accountant – Practice Environment

Role:  Accountant
Location:  Caledon, Overberg, Western Cape
Salary:  TBC

Key Responsibilities:
  • Full bookkeeping and accounting functions
  • Preparing and submitting tax and statutory returns
  • Performing statutory work
  • Preparing annual financial statements and working papers
  • Resolving accounting and tax queries
  • Calculating and submitting income tax
  • General administrative duties related to accounting
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • Completed SAIPA / SAICA articles
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to take initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure in a structured environment
  • Proficient in accounting software and general computer literacy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Start Date: 1 April 2025 or earlier
