The Role
Cognizant is seeking a motivated and innovative
Salesforce Tech Lead
that will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple projects within the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. The candidate will be responsible for leading technical deliverables, prepare technical design and documents, work with Business system analysts to convert the business requirement to technical requirement, mentor team, provide end to end technical solution. The candidate must have a deep understanding of design, development, and implementation of Salesforce and nCino banking operating system, loan origination, processing a loan in nCino, salesforce integration, asynchronous apex, and Salesforce best practices for implementing and customizing complex solutions. This role involves analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and Agile experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design & Development: Build and customize applications, features, and integrations within Salesforce and nCino Bank Operating System.
  • Business Analysis: Review and analyze complex business scenarios and operational processes; conduct technical research and evaluate alternatives to drive business objectives.
  • Integration Expertise: Develop and manage Salesforce integrations, asynchronous Apex, and other advanced Salesforce development tools.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor offshore development teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
  • Release Management: Implement and oversee continuous delivery pipelines and manage the entire release process within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • DevOps Practices: Apply DevOps methodologies to streamline development and deployment processes.

Qualifications

  • 9–12 years of experience in Salesforce development and technical leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of nCino Bank Operating System, including nCino objects, administration tools, and product hierarchy.
  • Expert in Salesforce configuration, customization, and development.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one DevOps tool such as Copado, ANT, Gearset, AutoRABIT, Flosum, or Prodly to ensure smooth software development lifecycle with minimal disruption.
  • Valid Salesforce and nCino certifications are required.
  • Proven track record of working in Agile environments, with the ability to adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
