Job Title: Salesforce Solution Architect

Location : Toronto (requires at least 2 days at onsite)

Contract: Long term

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

Define end-to-end solution architecture for Salesforce Field Service implementations

Design scalable data models, integration patterns, and security models across Service Cloud, Field Service, and related clouds.

Establish dev standards, governance, and reusable patterns (naming conventions, branching, code review).

Field Service Expertise

Configure Dispatcher Console, Appointment Booking, Optimization, and Scheduling (rule-based & AI-assisted).

Design Mobile flows for technicians (checklists, guided scripts, offline capabilities).

Model Asset & Warranty lifecycle, Maintenance Plans, and Service Contracts/Entitlements.

Implement Velocity templates / mobile configurations and custom actions for technician workflows.

Integration & APIs

Lead API strategy (REST/SOAP, Platform Events, Change Data Capture) for real-time and batch integrations.

Integrate with ERP/Inventory, Workforce Management, IoT/Telemetry, GIS, and Customer Portal.

Ensure robust error handling, retry strategies, and observability (logging, monitoring).

Delivery & Leadership

Translate business requirements into solution designs and architectural decision records (ADRs).

Guide developers/admins through Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Declarative automation.

Own release management/DevOps (version control, CI/CD pipelines, environment strategy, test automation).

Partner with stakeholders to define roadmaps, non-functional requirements, and KPIs.

Security & Compliance

Implement least-privilege Role/Permission Set models, Field-Level Security, Shield encryption/events as needed.

Ensure compliance with data residency, PII handling, and audit requirements.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Architect with strong expertise in Field Service Lightning (FSL) to design, implement, and optimize Salesforce solutions that align with business needs. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of Salesforce architecture, hands-on experience with multiple Salesforce clouds, and the ability to guide development teams in delivering scalable and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:


• Design and implement Salesforce solutions with a focus on Field Service Lightning (FSL).


• Define architecture standards, best practices, and integration strategies.


• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.


• Oversee configuration, customization, and integration with third-party systems.


• Conduct code and design reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.


• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Salesforce developers and administrators.


• Ensure system scalability, security, and performance optimization.


• Stay updated on Salesforce releases and recommend new features or improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


• 7–10 years of experience in Salesforce ecosystem.


• Strong experience with Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) implementation and configuration.


• In-depth understanding of Salesforce Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds.


• Experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and API integrations.


• Strong knowledge of data modeling, security, and integration patterns.


• Salesforce Architect and/or Consultant certifications preferred (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect, FSL Consultant).


• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
