Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Toronto, ON, for a Kitchen and Dry Chemical Fire Suppression System Technician. The candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing kitchen and dry chemical fire suppression systems. Daily tasks include performing safety inspections, troubleshooting system issues, conducting compliance tests, and ensuring systems meet local safety codes and industry standards. The role also involves accurately documenting completed work, interacting with clients to address their safety concerns, and providing professional recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for kitchen and dry chemical fire suppression systems.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, regulations, and compliance testing procedures for fire suppression systems.
  • Technical skills in inspection, repair, and accurate documentation of work performed.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and provide safety guidance.
  • Ability to work independently on-site while ensuring quality and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various work locations within Toronto as required.
  • Prior experience in fire suppression systems or related fields is a strong advantage.
  • Relevant certifications in fire suppression systems or safety inspections are preferred.
