Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a
Senior Fire Alarm Technician
based in Toronto, ON. The technician will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems, as well as troubleshooting system issues to ensure compliance with life safety standards. The role includes conducting scheduled inspections, completing accurate reports, and ensuring all work meets applicable codes and regulations. A strong focus on professionalism and customer service is essential, as the technician will represent the company on-site and work closely with both clients and colleagues to deliver reliable fire protection solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • CFAA registration (must be current)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the fire/life safety industry
  • Proficiency in fire alarm systems and life safety protocols
  • Capable of inspections, verifications, service calls, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations
  • Strong report writing and inspection documentation skills
  • Relevant certifications and factory training (asset)
  • Electrical or sprinkler system experience (asset)
  • Strong command of English (oral and written)
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • Polite, respectful, and professional with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to handle after-hours and weekend service calls (rotational basis)
  • Valid driver's license with clean abstract
  • Availability to work on-site across the GTA
