Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Repair or replace faulty components with precision and efficiency
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure all work complies with safety standards
  • Assist in installation of new equipment and machinery as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role with mechanical knowledge
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components is a plus
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Relevant certifications or technical training in mechanics are preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
