ABOUT THE ROLE
The Manager, Intensive Treatment Services is a full-time permanent position that is accountable for the delivery of intensive treatment services by providing the clinical and administrative supervision of individual, child and family therapists offering individual, group and family counselling, across milieu programs which includes the admissions processes - Day Treatment/ Live in Treatment, in-home, and in community.
Salary range: $79,422.00 to $92,488.00 per annum

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Provide clinical direction, guidance and support to a multidisciplinary/ interdisciplinary team of child mental health professionals, across a spectrum of services/ programs, in adherence to established legislative/ accredited service standards, ensuring delivery of high-quality evidence-based/ evidence-informed services.
- Build an effective, efficient, responsive clinical service team that demonstrates commitment to Organizational values/ philosophy, continuous learning, innovation, quality improvement and embraces change with a growth mindset.
- Develop, enhance, innovate and implement the organization's clinical treatment services to ensure that services are provided in accordance with relevant legislation/ accreditation standards/ college requirements/ Ministry expectations and the organization's mandate, vision, mission, philosophy and clinical standards of service, including policies, procedures and practices.
- Participate in identifying new program needs to meet the evolving needs of the community and participate in the development and implementation of new, enhanced services while ensuring that appropriate resources required are available e.g., staffing, space, materials, measurement and outcome tools.
- Ensure all administrative requirements related to operations are completed in a timely, accurate and effective manner.
- Develop, establish and maintain effective collaborative working relationships with community partners/ stakeholders to ensure outreach, coordination and integration of the Organization's services.
- Participate in community committees and work groups to support collective work aligned with the Organization's vision, mission and values.
- Support employee wellbeing and direct the work in their area to ensure that it is carried out in a safe and productive manner and that employees are properly trained and protected from hazardous conditions.
THE "MUST HAVES"
The following education, professional memberships and knowledge are a requirement for this role:
- Master's Degree in Social Work or equivalent.
- Professional registration in good standing with the relevant college.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a mental health clinician.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience supervising clinical employees/students.
- Strong background in CYMH with knowledge of relevant EBP's, EIP's.
- Strong knowledge of assessment, treatment modalities (e.g., Family Therapy, Brief Therapy, CBT, Trauma, Attachment).
- Knowledge of the community served by the Organization.
- A demonstrated understanding of access and equity issues.
- Awareness and sensitivity to diversity and inclusion in the workplace and within the community.
- Excellent organizational skills, leadership, talent management and team building skills.
- Ability to manage workload pressures as they arise and respond in a timely, effective manner.
THE 'NICE TO HAVES'
While not required, preference will be given to candidates with the following:
- Experience in supervising Intensive Services would be an asset.
- Experience in working in a unionized environment is an asset.
- Awareness of the role of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and within the community being served by the position.
- An understanding of Anti-Black Racism, anti-oppressive/anti-racism perspective in the context of the social determinants of health when working with clients and their families.
- Ability to recognize and identify situations where incidents of and imbalance of power and privilege may occur and can result in possible negative impacts for the client.
