About the Role
We're hiring a Business Operations Manager with a strong VC, investment, or strategic finance background.
This role sits at the intersection of strategic operations, investor relations, and company-wide execution. You'll work directly with the CEO, COO, and leadership team to bring clarity, discipline, and momentum to the highest-impact initiatives across the business.
You'll take ownership of our investor reporting engine, financial and operational dashboards, internal data narrative, and cross-functional strategic projects.
This includes preparing board materials, managing investor communications, supporting fundraising, and building the internal systems that help the company scale.
This role is ideal for someone who knows how investors think, understands SaaS/AI metrics deeply, and is excited by the idea of applying that knowledge inside a fast-moving, product-led AI company.
What Success Looks Like
- Investor communications are clear, timely, and data-driven. Board meetings are well-run, with crisp materials and actionable insights.
- Forecasts, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks are accurate, consistent, and used daily by leadership.
- The leadership team has a shared understanding of business performance backed by reliable analysis.
- Cross-functional initiatives — spanning product, GTM, operations, and finance — move forward with structure, alignment, and accountability.
- Fundraising processes run smoothly, data rooms are immaculate, and investor conversations are supported by airtight narrative and analysis.
- The company operates with increasing clarity: cleaner planning cycles, more predictable outcomes, and fewer surprises.
Responsibilities:
Investor Relations & Fundraising
- Own all investor reporting, including monthly/quarterly updates, materials, and follow-ups
- Prepare board materials and drive the operational side of board meetings
- Support fundraising strategy, diligence, narrative development, and investor pipeline management
- Maintain a best-in-class data room and ensure investor information is always current and accurate
Strategic Finance & Reporting
- Build, maintain, and evolve dashboards and core KPIs across the business
- Support forecasting, scenario planning, and operational budgeting
- Turn complex operational data into company-wide insights that inform strategy
- Ensure cross-functional teams are aligned around the same definition of performance
Business Operations
- Lead strategic, high-impact projects across product, GTM, and operations
- Diagnose bottlenecks and design scalable processes that increase efficiency
- Improve planning, goal-setting, and operational cadence across the company
- Partner with leadership to drive focus, clarity, and disciplined execution
Execution & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Bring structure to ambiguous problems and move initiatives from idea to execution
- Build bridges between teams and ensure information flows clearly and consistently
- Create repeatable, scalable workflows that reduce operational chaos as the company grows
- 3–8+ years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, private equity, strategic finance, or BizOps
- Strong command of SaaS metrics, financial modeling, and investor expectations
- Exceptional communicator — crisp writing, strong narrative instincts, and clear synthesis
- Able to work directly with C-level leaders and influence cross-functional teams
- Highly analytical with strong judgment and the ability to operate independently
- Experienced in fast-paced, high-growth environments where priorities shift quickly
- Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Bias toward clarity, ownership, and momentum — you get things done
