Job Description

What will you do?

  • Oversee the efficiency of day-to-day operations
  • Adhoc projects supporting Family Office Services business initiatives
  • Financial Planning Tools Support – Assist the various RBC sales forces in using the corporate approved financial advice and planning tools to respond to client queries, uncover hidden assets, retain business, and develop referrals.
  • Creation and maintenance of financial planning documents and tools.
  • Conduct detailed testing of our primary financial planning software.
  • Complete audit reviews as required by our internal procedures.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Effective written, verbal and electronic communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work effectively with others and be perceived as a team player
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills

Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures
  • Experience in the securities industry is an asset

In order to be eligible for these student positions, you must either: 

  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date; or 
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully
