COMPANY PROFILE:
Clarke North America, one of Canada's largest freight carriers and a member of the TFI International Inc. group of companies, operates 10 terminals across the country and provides LTL and FTL services to our customers from coast to coast. We are looking for the following professional to join our dynamic and results team in Concord, Ontario.
CONCORD, ONTARIO
As the successful candidate, you will be a self-motivated individual, responsible for the collection of delinquent accounts. Hours will be 10am to 6pm EST; in office 2nd Floor (no elevator). You will work collaboratively with sales, customer service and pricing, to collect, manage and resolve outstanding invoices. In addition, you will possess the following qualifications:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(Duties and responsibilities may include all or some of the following. Additional duties targeted to the Division/Department may also be added):
· Responsible for the collection efforts of assigned accounts receivable portfolio
· Hours will be 10am to 6pm EST
· Collect overdue accounts receivable through effective communication with customers
· Respond to customer inquiries
· Daily follow up on receivables with email and phone calls
· Document daily collections activity
· Research account disputes and billing/payment discrepancies
· Resolve issues on delinquent or disputed accounts, work with billing, rating and customer service to prevent future issues once identified
· Preparing reports and providing weekly updates
· Maintain aging % as determined by management
· Update Credit Manager on account concerns
· Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
. 3 years' experience in Accounts Receivable in a fast-paced environment, transport experience is preferred
. Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
. Exceptional computer skills (MS Office; Advanced Excel; Outlook)
. Proactive, self-starter with a strong work ethic
. Well-organized with ability to work independently
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
. Exceptional time management ability with superior attention to detail
. Exceptional communication skills to build and maintain customer and peer relationships
. Must be adaptable and resourceful
. Superior follow up skills
. Goal oriented
