Role Description

This is a remote contract role for a hungry, self-starting UI/UX Designer who thrives on building modern, high-performing digital experiences. You'll design user-centric interfaces for mobile apps, landing pages, and software products, translating business goals into clean, intuitive flows that convert.

You'll create wireframes and high-fidelity UI, build clickable prototypes, and maintain developer-ready design systems in Figma. You'll work closely with strategy, creative, and development, taking direction well and executing quickly while maintaining high quality. This role is ideal for someone who listens closely, understands people, communicates clearly, and can prioritize effectively across multiple projects.

Qualifications

  • Self-starter with strong ownership and follow-through, able to work independently in a remote environment
  • Strong listener and communicator who takes direction well and turns feedback into clean execution
  • Team-first mindset with the ability to collaborate smoothly with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and deliver on deadlines across multiple initiatives
  • Strong UI/UX design skills with a sharp eye for modern visual design and detail
  • Proven experience designing
    mobile apps
    ,
    landing pages
    , and
    software product interfaces
    (SaaS/web apps)
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma
    (components, auto layout, variants, design systems, prototyping)
  • Deep understanding of software products, including user flows, information architecture, and usability best practices
  • Strong prototyping skills (clickable prototypes that clearly communicate interaction and intent)
  • Experience with developer handoff (specs, annotations, component behaviors)
  • Understanding of responsive design and accessibility best practices
  • Bonus: familiarity with UX research methods (user interviews, usability testing) and CRO-oriented design decisions
  • Degree in Design, HCI, or a related field is a plus, but a strong portfolio is more important
