Role Description

This is a full-time remote position as a UX/UI Designer Engineering Fellow based in Vancouver. The role involves designing user-friendly interfaces and ensuring an optimal user experience for various AI and Data Science platforms. Responsibilities include analyzing user needs, creating wireframes and prototypes, conducting usability testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance design solutions. The Fellow will have the opportunity to develop innovative design practices while contributing to the seamless integration of complex AI solutions into user-facing platforms.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in UX design tools and techniques, including wireframing, prototyping, and user flow design
  • Strong understanding of User-Centered Design (UCD) principles and usability testing
  • Experience in responsive design and mobile-first design practices
  • Skill in graphic design software such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma
  • Familiarity with front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how they influence design
  • Ability to analyze user data and feedback to improve designs and address user needs
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional team environments
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field
  • Experience or interest in AI and Data Science applications is a strong advantage
