Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Quality, the purpose of the
Quality Control Inspector
includes but is not limited to completing quality inspection functions as required by the Quality Control Program in both pressure vessel and pressure piping applications.

We Engineer, Design, Fabricate and Assemble some of the largest and most advanced natural gas compression, gas processing, electric power generation and carbon capture equipment for the global energy industry.

With a foundation of integrity, the candidate would use commitment and creativity to drive our organization forward. This position is based out of Enerflex's Calgary facility.

*Responsibilities and Duties*

  • Pressure vessels and process piping inspections, including verifying conformance to local legislation and construction codes. Typical codes will include ASME VIII-1, B31.3, CSA B51, ASME II, … etc.
  • Adhering to internal quality programs and ensuring customer specifications are met
  • Visual inspection of weldments and compliance with construction drawing
  • Verification of various NDE methods, ie. RT, UT, MT, PT
  • Assembly of Quality Inspection Documentation including preparation of the pressure vessels and pressure piping data reports
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external customers

Qualifications

  • Fully functional Shop Inspector with 3 years of Quality Control experience having:
  • Technical diploma, CWB LI and/or ABSA Welding Examiner Certification
  • Fair knowledge of construction codes
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills are required
  • Excellent time management, organization and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated focus on quality, accuracy and thoroughness
  • Results oriented and team player
