We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Tech Lead to guide engineering teams in delivering scalable, high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other modules.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for Salesforce-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and standards.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, developers, administrators and scrum masters to co-create user stories, define acceptance criteria, and balance technical feasibility with business priorities.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and technical reviews.
  • Partner with the software engineering teams across the full stack—front end, back-end, cloud, and DevOps—to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Execute hands-on development and configuration expertise, including Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, and API integrations.
  • Define and evolve technical strategy, including CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps principles, and release automation.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and evaluate test plans and unit test scripts to uphold quality, reliability, and maintainability standards.
  • Ensure platform scalability, performance, and security, including data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Evaluate and recommend new Salesforce features and technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
  • Manage integration with other enterprise systems and data sources.
  • Maintain documentation for architecture, design decisions, and technical processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Ensure adherence to Air Canada's SDLC, ITIL, and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Participate in cross-team initiatives to set technical guidelines and promote consistency across pods and platforms.
  • Lead post-release activities including debugging, performance tuning, and incident resolution.
  • Drive adoption of emerging technologies including GenAI, agentic systems, and AI-assisted development tools.

Qualifications
Required

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience working with the Salesforce platform in a technical capacity.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration tools, and platform capabilities.
  • Experience providing technical oversight on Salesforce development including Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, and API integrations.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce modules such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
  • Solid understanding of data security, access controls, and compliance within Salesforce.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and secure technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to align technical decisions across teams and explain concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and participating in sprint planning and technical reviews.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.

Assets

  • Salesforce certifications such as: Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified App Builder, Platform Developer I/II or Salesforce Certified Architect (Application or System)
  • Experience with Agentforce, Einstein Analytics, Service Cloud Voice, and Data Cloud.
  • Exposure to middleware platforms and integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft)
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD practices for Salesforce (e.g., Gearset, Copado).
  • Experience in large enterprise environments with complex Salesforce implementations.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French (spoken and written).
